Nowadays everybody is concerned with his or her looks that go a long way in setting up the personality profile. It is quite evident that the most important aspects of maintaining that aesthetic look is through maintaining skin and hair. Skin tends to be a bit tough in this matter. No matter what anyone does have that soft and clean skin, but always ends up having some kind of eruptions that not only cause irritation to self but also look bad on the overall look of the person. This can be mainly attributed to the fact that the skin is exposed to quite a lot of harmful effects from sunlight, dust and pollution that is on the rise today. The health of the skin also depends on the internal functioning of the body like hormonal changes due to age. One such major skin problem due to the over-secretion of hormones during the teenage years is the formation of pimples. Pimples are caused due to the over secretion sebum by the sebaceous glands triggered by the hormonal imbalance during early puberty. This sebum also known as the skin oils get clogged in the skin pores or the hair follicles due to the dead skin cell covering causing the formation of bacteria under the upper layer of the skin. This bacteria causes inflammation of the skin resulting in the formation of small pustules on the surface of the skin known as pimples. Thus, it can be seen that the cause of pimples is not because of the superficial hygiene of the skin, but the internal functioning of the skin glands. Thus the removal techniques of these under the skin pimples should also be targeted towards the internal parts of the skin and not only towards superficial cleansing of the skin. Some of the easily available home remedies available to get rid of under the skin pimples are:-
Warm Compress. Pimples are usually red in color without any openings. This causes the inflammatory substance within the pimple to be trapped with the outer layer of the skin. Compressing the pimple with a cloth soaked in warm water increases the circulation of blood in the affected area and due to this additional blood flow the pimple head ruptures causing the inflammatory substance to flow out. On the extraction of this substance the healing process of the pimple starts by itself.

Tea tree oil, mixed with warm water, when applied on the affected areas of the skin with a soft cotton cloth, kills the harmful bacteria and the microbes by penetrating into the skin and thus reducing the inflammation. This also decreases the irritation caused by the pimples. It soothes the skin and quickens the healing mechanism of the eruption.
Toothpastes.Toothpaste contains a host of antibacterial elements that are very useful in killing of the bacteria causing the pimples. This property of toothpaste can be used to clear the pimples by applying toothpaste (whites only) on the pimples in small amounts overnight. However, this method is not to be used on sensitive skins because toothpaste contains many chemicals that may be harmful for sensitive skin.
