Considering yourself miserable because you got a pimple on your face, neck shoulder or back? Do not worry its normal; pimples are a normal condition of the skin that happens with a lot of people. Basically, you got a pimple that is an inflammation in your skin due to the excess of sebum secretion of the oil glands beneath your outer skin. Ice: use of ice is the quickest way to reduce the redness, inflammation and swelling of the pimples. It improves the circulation of blood to the area that is affected and also tightens the pores of the skin, removes oil and dirt on areas of the skin. Crushed ice or cubes, whichever is available can be used. For this take a clean cloth and cover the ice with it. Now hold the affected area of the skin for some seconds. Carry out the step for 2-3 times for only some minutes.
Tea tree oil: It has proved its worth in treating the pimple and acne. It has an antibacterial nature to fight the bacteria that are the reason for these dreadful pimples. The other reason for its use is its soothing properties that not only reduce the redness of the skin but also inflammation of the pimples. It is also good for treating the blackheads and whiteheads. The method for its use is implied. Take a clean cloth or cotton ball, dip it in the oil of tea tree and put on the infected area of the skin. Let it dry and then wash your face in about 10-15 minutes. You can also use the blend of the oil with aloe Vera. Apply the mixture on the affected area and let it dry. Wash it after 15-20 minutes. Note: Do not use the oil from tea tree if your skin is sensitive.
Lemon: the other way to eliminate the pimples is using the lemon juice. Lemon juice a rich source of vitamin C. It dries faster. Confirm not to use bottled juice as it contains the preservatives. You can apply it using the clean cotton ball which is dipped in lemon juice or you can use it by adding 1 tbsp lemon juice in1 tbsp cinnamon powder. Leave this overnight and rinse with warm water in the morning. This is also not good to be used with sensitive skin.
Toothpaste: Use the toothpaste you apply every morning to treat the pimples fast. It has the same effect as the use of ice cubes. Toothpaste generally contains silica. It will help to dry your pimple and decreasing its size. For better results apply some tooth paste, while going to sleep and rinse it with warm water once you get up in the morning. Note: some toothpaste contains sodium sulfate, which is an irritating agent to the skin. Make this clear before you apply toothpaste on your skin. It may burn your skin.
Steam: Use of the steam is great for the skin. It can be done any time. In treating pimples it helps a lot to open up the pores and lets your skin breathe and chucks out dirt, oils and bacteria clogged in skin pores. Causing less reason to facilitate the pimples grow. To apply steam, fill a large pot with boiling water and let steam to touch your face. This step needs a couple of minutes to act well. Wash your face with luke water and you can apply oil free moisturizers after drying your face.

Aspirin: Aspirin is anti inflammatory agent, it will fight against the inflammation, which will result in the pimple to be less visible. For this you can crush two aspirin in a bowl, put some water in it to get a paste. With q tip coat the mouth of pimples with this paste. You can leave it for 15-20 minutes. For better result, leave it applied on the pimple overnight and wash in the next morning with warm water and face wash.
Witch hazel: witch hazel is an astringent. The best are those with no alcohol. Use cotton ball to apply it on the pimple and let them dry. Wash after 15-20 minutes. Repeat this after every 20 minutes.
Eye drops: eye drops which are used to decrease the redness of the eyes are also helpful in minimizing the redness of the pimples and symptoms of irritation due to acne. Use a clean cloth or cotton ball to apply on the pimple. Before using the eye drops place them in the refrigerator for at least half an hour as the cold affect better in soothing the redness of the skin.
Natural antihistamines: Natural antihistamines can be used as a pill or can be drunk as a tea. The best thing about them is that they help in decreasing the redness of the skin tissue. Stinging nettle, Coldsfoot and basils are some of the widely used antihistamines.
Benzoyl peroxide: Benzoyl peroxide is good for fighting against the bacteria causing the pimples to appear on the skin. Different concentration of Benzoyl peroxide is available in the market with different names. The best concentration to use for the acne and pimples is the 2.5% concentration. Wash your face twice daily: Skin is like an organ of your body which protect from the outer pollution. It needs to be cared about and cleanse from the dirt, bacteria and other pollutants sticking to it and causing pimples and other diseases. Wash your skin twice daily once in the morning and also once before you go to bed. Avoid alcohol: Alcohol promotes the dehydration of the body, making you deprive of the essential water. It also contains the sugars which are healthy for the growth of the pimples on the skin.
